Firstly, I'd like to thank those of you who have shown some level of interest and support — I am eternally grateful and honored to receive the support that I have so far. I am touched. So..

THANK YOU!

Now, let's dive right into this..

The Industry

Ultimately, video game development is normally completed by large corporations that would appear to have a vast network of connections, employees and an unlimited budget to top it off. To state this plainly, mainstream/large development companies have entire departments dedicated to various career fields and individuals that actually specialize in their job; tasks such as animation, rigging, hard-surface modeling, sculpting, texturing, music composition, sound design and so much more.

As for Evigilo Entertainment, it's currently a one-man show which requires us to learn anything and everything that an individual possibly can regarding video game development — That's not even including the business side of things. While we're slowly building a team, it would be impossible to pay everyone outright or right away. From the start, video-game development is a risky business that may reap little reward in the end. However, the risk is entirely worth the journey because the upside to said reward is that it has the potential to be BIG. The video game industry is a multi-billion-dollar industry with predictions stating that there is much growth to be had.

While the digital entertainment industry may be cut-throat, we're carefully carving a path for ourselves to make way for the coming wave, which I fully intend to partake in. I will need to meet significant objectives to achieve my goals, but it may be needless to say — my ambitions are high.

What To Expect?

So at this point, you might be asking yourself... 'What am I getting out of this blog?' or 'What's the point of all of this? 'Here's your answer: If you're interested in learning more about Evigilo Entertainment's development journey as a growing company, what we're really about, what we care about, what's driving us, what we're learning, doing or simply interested in video game development — Welcome. We plan on sharing our (likely, very opinionated) viewpoints on politics, religion and many other fun topics, while we still have that right.

Thanks for reading.
